How to avoid scratches when cold drawn pipe is re-rolled
After analysis, it was found that such regular scratches on the cold drawn pipe may be caused by mis-layering. In order to improve this situation, we instead use rough roller rolling or smoothing to increase the inter-layer friction coefficient of the steel coil, thereby reducing the possibility of mis-layering scratches.
Since the rewinding is carried out after the flattening process, the outlet purge system of the flattening machine can be improved. This can reduce the remaining impurities on the surface of the product and avoid scratches. In addition, after we refuel the reel, it is best to perform multiple expansion and contraction operations before installing the sleeve. The purpose of this is to prevent the sleeve from being overstrained before use, thereby affecting the processing quality of the cold drawn tube.
